Portland Oregon Tea Party / Hillsboro 4th of July Parade

The Portland, Beaverton and Hillsboro Tea Parties were all combined into one event as an entry in the Hillsboro, Oregon 4th of July Parade.

Here are some images of this awesome group of patriots. Click on a thumbnail image to see the full size picture.

> All ten of you should be proud,

Are you referring to the less than 10 that were in the "Oregon Democrats" entry in the parade?

Because the Tea Party entry was, by far, the largest single entry and stretched for more than 2 blocks.

> No chance, no chance

No chance for what? For a return to the founding principles of our Republic? No chance for a return to normalcy?

> racist folks.

Racist about what and against whom? Racist because we're attacking Zero for his policies instead of his race?

Anonymous, your statistics (like your "racist" lie) are irrelevant. Hitler, Lenin and Stalin also received a large number of votes. They were still bad leaders.

What is relevant is that fewer than 10 people showed up for the "Oregon Democrats" parade entry, while the Tea Party group was the largest group in the entire parade. What is also relevant is that there were more Democrats in the Tea Party group than in the "Oregon Democrats" group.

What you don't seem to understand is that the Tea Parties have more to do with people protesting irresponsible government taxing spending than with particular parties.

Tell me, how is that racist?

As a fellow Oregonian, I have to say you would have to put on a robe with a pointy hood to beat a President that calls a police officer "stupid" because he dealt with a person without ID breaking into a house. You would have to be wearing Swaztika to do worse than a Latina who thinks she is better than another just because they are older or "white."

Of course, I believe in voting on tax rates and private property ownership.
