I was considering recently the parallels between individual gun ownership, and homeland security. Not surprisingly, the two are intertwined and closely related. My thoughts took me down some paths that I had never considered before and I reached some rather simple conclusions. Maybe others have reached these same conclusions?
When a person has a handgun in the home that they use for self defense, the hope is that the gun will never be used for its intended purpose. Kind of like when you buy life insurance with the hope that it won't ever be needed.
Comparing this to homeland security, we as a people want our national home (ie- homeland) to be safe and we are anxious to defend our country from invasion. For this purpose, we have the armed services, both full time (Army, Navy, etc) and part time (National Guard). The hope that we have is that we never have to use our Armed Forces, but they are there anyway as insurance against external threats.
In both cases it is sometimes necessary to take our defense outside of the home or homeland. We do not always stay at home, it it is important to be secure no matter where you go.
Neither individual gun ownership, nor an army should be treated lightly. Where neither is available, anarchy and chaos ensue. Where either is used to excess, again the result is anarchy and chaos.
With both home defense and homeland security, there are two primary types of attackers that are defended against - organized and unorganized.
The "unorganized" attackers (who are not necessarily disorganized) are those who are not part of any official organization, and are terrorists in the case of a country, and thieves or burglars for a home setting.
Organized attackers of a country are other countries; but organized home attackers... what would that be?
The founding fathers who gave us the second amendment knew that answer quite well... our own government, if not kept in check, can turn into an unwanted invader.
Therefore, just as it is important for an army to defend its country from both terrorists and other governments, it is just as relevant for individuals to arm themselves to protect against all domestic threats.
"Whereas civil-rulers, not having their duty to the people duly before them, may attempt to tyrannize, and as military forces, which must be occasionally raised to defend our country, might pervert their power to the injury of their fellow citizens, the people are confirmed by the article in their right to keep and bear their private arms." Tench Coxe, 1788.
"Before a standing army can rule, the people must be disarmed; as they are in almost every kingdom in Europe. The supreme power in America cannot enforce unjust laws by the sword; because the whole body of the people are armed, and constitute a force superior to any band of regular troops that can be, on any pretense, raised in the United States. A military force, at the command of Congress, can execute no laws, but such as the people perceive to be just and constitutional; for they will possess the power, and jealousy will instantly inspire the inclination, to resist the execution of a law which appears to them unjust and oppressive." Noah Webster, 1787.
"Whereas, to preserve liberty, it is essential that the whole body of the people always possess arms, and be taught alike, especially when young, how to use them." Richard Henry Lee, 1788.

A Tale of Two Stimulus Packages
"It (the Reagan Era) was the best of times. It (the Obama Era) was the worst of times."
Now that the economy is in the dump, primarily due to Carter- and Clinton-era laws, Obama has decided to wage an all-out war on prosperity. But like any good communist (if you can call communists "good"), he is calling his pork-filled plan an "Economic Stimulus" package. At best, however, the only thing that the package could stimulate are the Democrat party and their supporters.
There is so much pork in this bill that it is nothing but pork. Among other things, Obama's first salvo in his war on prosperity includes $600 million to "prepare" for universal health care. Excuse me... Prepare? What does that mean? And how on earth is that going to stimulate the economy when universal health care is bad for the economy?
And how have companies reacted to Obama's increasingly anti-business activities? They're tightening their own belts - CNN (one of the lying, leftarded MSM gorgons) can't even hide this story: 100,000 jobs lost just this week (and over 2 million since the beginning of the year). Of course, CNN will never point the blame where it is justly deserved - Obama's economic incompetence and meddling.
Fortunately, there are a growing number of voices who are speaking out strongly against Obama's Communism-in-Disguise economic plans. Rush Limbaugh is engaged in a War on the War on Prosperity. All House Republicans (and even some Democrats) voted against the pork-filled monstrosity. Joe "thePlumber Reporter" Wurzelbacher is being sent to Washington to cover the "Economic Stimulus" package fiasco by Pajamas TV. And even that great surrenderer McCain is predicting that no Republican Senators will vote for the package.
And these voices are not just speaking out... Rush has presented his own Bi-partisan Stimulus Package. Is Rush's package perfect? No, because it still includes too much pork (any pork is too much pork - didn't Obama say as much during the campaign?). But it is a step in a much better direction: halve corporate tax rates, eliminate capital gains tax for a year, then reinstate at 10%.
Two stimulus packages. One is nothing but porkapalooza. The other has a chance of doing some real stimulating.

Harry Potter and the New World Disorder #4
Back to Chapter 3
Chapter 4 - Unleashing the Basilisk
Voldemort is impatiently hissing orders to the many underlings. Slowly, a large snake slithers into the room and entwines itself within Voldemort's arms.

Wormtail jumps up and down excitedly.

On the wall, the picture of Dumbledore comments disapprovingly.

The sound of his real name irritates Voldemort and causes him to cringe visibly.

Over at 12 Grimmauld Place, a meeting of the Order of the Phoenix is addressed by Hagrid.

Upon hearing the news that Hagrid wants Voldemort's Stimulus Package from the Chamber of Socialsm to fail, Voldemort storms into the Wizengamot and addresses those assembled.

Voldemort's outbreak quickly reaches the Order of the Phoenix. Hermione calls them to action.

Help Defeat the "Economic Stimulus" Package
The so-called Economic Stimulus package that was passed in the House yesterday did so without a single Republican vote. Not only that, but 10 Democrats abandoned it as well. In my opinion, this should indicate just how bad the package really is.
Obama promised during the campaign that he would not allow any pork into his budgets. But this package shows that he not only reneged on his promise, but he did so in a big way - the "Economic Stimulus" package is nothing but pork.
And in spite of cozy words that make him sound like he's trying to work with Republicans, Obama is not making any compromises at all, but instead he tells Republicans that "he won" and that they "can't listen to Rush Limbaugh". That's not cooperation - that's intimidation. And the intimidation is ongoing. Obama knows that the Stimulus package does nothing whatsoever to stimulate the economy. Its only purpose is to stimulate the Democratic party and reward those who voted for Obama.
Now, as the bill heads to the Senate, Democrats are getting desperate because they know that people are starting to take notice and object. Democrat Senator Ben Nelson is trying to put together another "Gang of 14". Ostensibly it's to figure out how the package can be modified so it gets Republican approval. But in reality, the Democrats do not want much more than minor tweaks, as long as they can get some Republicans on board - and not have to bear the full blame when the package fails to produce any economic stimulus.
Not only will this package fail to produce any positive economic results; it will do more harm than good both short- and long-term.
How can you help? Contact your Senators and let them know that they should not approve of the economic stimulus package - either the current one, or any that comes from the "Gang of 14". If you have a Republican Senator, encourage them to Filibuster. If you have a Democrat Senator, encourage them to vote against the stimulus package.

Rush: Obama stimulating the Democratic Party
After their well-publicized spat last week, where Obama warned House GOP leaders to not listen to Rush Limbaugh, Rush's response was to chide the Boy-Child for trying to divert attention from the horrendous stimulus package making its way through Congress. Score one for Rush.
One of the claims constantly made by the Democrat leadership is that they are trying to find bipartisan solutions. However, these solutions never seem to involve any real bipartisanship. In fact, I've come to the conclusion that whenever Democrats say "bipartisan", what they really mean is that Republicans should willingly bend over so they can get shafted.
Obama's "stimulus" package is perfect example of this. The bill making its way through Congress only contains programs that are of interest to Democrats. Any suggestions that the Republicans have made to modify the bill have been rejected. How is that bipartisan?
So, along comes Rush who suggests a truly bipartisan option. Now this plan may not be perfect, but it's certainly better and a much more bipartisan idea than what the Democrats are foisting on us. Score two for Rush.
Rush: 2, Obama: 0
Mr. Obama, I challenge you to sit down and take a serious look at Rush's ideas. Prove to us that you really can work in a bipartisan manner. Show us that, deep down, you really do care about this country and that you're not really a communist. I dare you!
After all, as Rush says, Obama's "stimulus" package will only stimulate the Democratic Party, not the US economy. And the Democratic Party is already overstimulated as it is.

The ObaMatrix
Those of you who have seen the Matrix movies will probably understand the reference. My wife was the one who first commented to me about the parallels between Obama and the Matrix world.
A dream-world built on deception and illusion. What you experience is what the liberals want you to experience, or allow you to see. Most people don't know what's going on, having been lulled to sleep by the Mainstream Media. Your entire existence is controlled by the government.
OK, so maybe that's a bit of a stretch beyond reality. But you get the picture. And judging by what Obama has said and done in the past, it seems to me that he would be quite content to create that kind of society - the ObaMatrix.
But instead of computers, O-bot liberals running their own little Nanny State. They get to write rules for everyone else to live by while they do whatever they please. That's the problem, though, isn't it... who watches over the watchers?

Thoughts on attending a Gun Show
This last Sunday my wife and I went to a local gun show. It was the first one we had attended, and we quite enjoyed ourselves.
What made it more fun was that we went with some friends who are knowledgable about guns.
Now when I say that they are "knowledgable" about guns, that's like saying that Rush Limbaugh knows a little something about radio. Or at least that's how I perceive them, because they have lots of guns including several class 3 weapons, of which one is a .50 caliber machine gun. So, yeah, they know a little something about guns. I guess his being a member of the local county posse helps.
Anyway, they showed us around, we bought a gun and it was generally a fun experience. There were quite a lot of people at the show, too.
For those of you who know guns, what we bought is a Glock 22, .40 caliber. When we bought it, I had to wait in line to get to a table where they went through all the paperwork for background check, etc. There were about four people at a time at the table. After this I had to wait again while the paperwork was sent to a lady who was on the phone with the police who did a computer check on me and on the gun.
After all the legal paperwork was cleared, and payment transferred, I received the weapon, the four of us browsed around a little more, then we left.
After we left, our friends mentioned to us that they were amazed at the turnout. Since I had never been to a gun show before, I had nothing to compare this experience with. But these friends mentioned that this was the largest turnout for any gun show that they had ever seen, and they had been going to area gun shows for quite a few years. Not only that, but they said that the previous year, there was no waiting at the background check table, and there was usually only one person at a time at that table. This time, there was a line to sit at the table, and there were four people at a time at the table. And it was like this from the time that we arrived until when we left.
Also, the lady on the phone, they mentioned that previously, she would only call up the police check number when someone came through with a purchase, but this time, there were so many purchases that she didn't even get the chance to hang up! When she would finish with one person she would say over the phone "OK, I have another one to check..."
So why do I think this is worth writing about? The area I live in is heavily leftarded. I just find it highly amusing that anti-gun Obama is turning out to be a really good gun salesman, even in such a liberal city.
The next four years are shaping up to be "interesting".

Geert Wilders is innocent of committing any crime. All he did was tell the truth about how thousands of atrocities have been committed and millions of people been murdered, all in the name of Islam. Why is Geert being prosecuted for telling the truth?

Obama - a Successful Failure
I find it highly amusing that some of Obama's antics are having the opposite effect of what he intended.
For example, even though Obama is anti-Gun, he seems to be the best gun salesman out there.
And when he told House Republican leaders to not listen to Rush Limbaugh, the result was more attention being paid to Rush.
Even the Democrat party is failing... they launched an online petition to tell Rush what we think of his "attacks" on Obama, and judging from the responses to their blog posting, their attack is backfiring!
Seeing at how well Obama is doing in this respect, maybe we could get him to criticize Ann Coulter and Sarah Palin?
By the way, Barry would do well to remember these words by Teddy Roosevelt:

To announce that there must be no criticism of the President, or that we are to stand by the President, right or wrong, is not only unpatriotic and servile, but is morally treasonable to the American public. Nothing but the truth should be spoken about him or anyone else. But it is even more important to tell the truth, pleasant or unpleasant, about him than about any one else.
SarahPAC Launched
A Political Action Committee named in honor of Sarah Palin has been started up: SarahPAC.com. From their web site, it appears to me that they're using Energy Independence as a cornerstone of their platform (although they do cover other issues as well). If you're so inclined, I suggest that you take a look at the site and see for yourself.
Regarding Energy Independence, personally, I think that it is a good concept as long as it doesn't get bogged down in over-reliance on unproven and/or expensive technologies like Solar, Wind or Biomass. Yes, these should be developed as possible with a view towards economic sustainability, but too much reliance should not be placed on them. We should not overlook the excellent oil and natural gas resources that we currently have (much cheaper to develop). And we should not shy away from investigating nuclear power as an additional alternative. Nuclear power technologies and safety has come a long way since 3-Mile Island and Chernobyl.
Pollution is definitely a bad thing, and some day all of our carbon-based fuel sources will dry up. So at some point in the future it will be necessary to eliminate petroleum-based sources from our energy infrastructure. When that future comes is anybody's guess, but using alarmism to guide our Energy policy is counterproductive. And until that time comes, we should not let anti-oil obsessions or the religion of Global Warmism push us away from the cheap, reliable oil resources that we have.
Yes, Energy Independence is a good goal, but let's do it reasonably and responsibly.

A day in the Presidency of the Boy-Child
It seems that Obama just can't generate enough head-scratchers today.
One thing he did was to announce stricter anti-pollution rules for the automobile industry so cars will have to be cleaner and more fuel-efficient. But... just not too clean or efficient. Although he wants strict rules, he doesn't want individual states to set their own stricter-than-EPA rules.
Yeah, I'm sure that there's some alternate universe out there where that makes sense.
And as if that weren't confusingly libtarded enough, now he's threatening to follow through on one of his most idiotically stupid campaign promises: open direct talks with Iran, without preconditions. I mean, come on.Leeching Douchebags Politicians often promise a lot of garbage during their campaigns, but this is just ridiculous.
Here are some quotes from his new UN ambassador along with my commentary:
So concerned, in fact that we're going to roll over and play dead. The USA is the Great Satan, after all, and doesn't Iran want us all dead?
Can you spell "Orwellian double-speak"? Maybe we should just ship Obama off to Teheran with a bottle of little blue pills for Ahmadinejad, and let Ahmadinejad engage in all the "vigorous diplomacy" that he wants with baby Barry.
Gosh! Ahmadinejad must really be shaking in his boots after that zinger! If he doesn't do what we want, we're going to "cause pressure to increase" by caving in!
And in our final segment for this article, the Redistributor-in-Chief must not be too pleased that even more companies are announcing still more layoffs. He's probably looking for some angle to blame this on Bush.
If anyone has been paying attention, they would have noticed that the big layoff announcements started happening just after the election results became known. In other words, these massive layoffs are no reactive phenomenon. Businesses know what's going to happen to them if B.O. manages to pass his "stimulus" package, so they're proactively unloading workers in preparation for future devastation.
The real head-scratcher with this one, however, is why B.O. isn't listening to his financial advisors whose PhD dissertations specifically point out that his actions will only make the economy worse.

Not-so-Green Liberals
In addition to all of the other hypocrisies practiced by liberals during the B.O. inauguration, here's another one to add to the list: in spite of the claim that this inauguration was to be the most environmentally friendly in recent history, and in spite of all of the "Green" parties intended to highlight Global Warming Alarmism, quite a few of the leftarded greenie weanies showed up in private jets.
So, were these greenie weanies trying to prevent global warming or generate a little global warming in time for their messiah's coronation?
Looks like they failed on both counts.

Doomsday!
If we don’t cough up huge amounts of money now, the banking industry will fail! If we don’t bail out the automakers immediately, they will go belly up! If we don’t do something right away, the earth will warm up so hot that we won’t be able to survive!
The Chicken Little Mainstream Media never had so much work to do.
There’s always some new apocalyptic scenario to get you to buy into yet another one of the government’s con games. And all for one purpose: higher taxes and bigger government.
Tell me, when has big government ever worked? Never. Not once in the entire history of this planet has any country had a big government system that was a good thing for the people of that country. Never.
The only possible reason for big government, is to fill the bank accounts of the ruling elite. How is that a good thing for the people?
But that’s what Obama is leading this nation into. A socialist oligarchy. Now there’s something to really be afraid of. If only I could find Chicken Little and get him onto the story. Where is the little bugger? Oh yeah, he’s over worshipping the Obamessiah.

Obama's Shell Game
The "promise" of closing GITMO is high on Obama's radar but if it's closed will this really represent a "change"? Gitmo may be closed but the prisoners... they'll just be moved to another location with a different name... and a different set of rules which Obama can change at any time to include torture. So what is the end result? Nothing. We still have terrorists in American custody, only they're somewhere else now.
What's the point?
Is he squeamish about the suspension of Writ of Habeas Corpus? Why would he be? His "role model", Abe Lincoln suspended Habeas Corpus during the Civil War. Now we're at war with terrorists, suspension of Habeas Corpus for terrorists shouldn't be an issue. Especially since most of the terrorists released have, surprise surprise, gone back to being terrorists.
In fact, let's look at Habeas Corpus for a second... The Constitution says (article 1, section 9), "the privilege of the writ of habeas corpus shall not be suspended, unless when in cases of rebellion or invasion the public safety may require it." We are being invaded by terrorists and public safety requires it.
Is he just trying to placate the libtards who have been screeching for years about closing Guantanamo? I mean, is that the real point here, close Guantanamo or deal with the terrorists who are being held there? If it's just to close Guantanamo for the sake of closing Guantanamo, then that's pretty stupid. Why not leave the terrorists there?
Obama seems to be renaming the war on terror, not getting rid of it. But what is he replacing it with? As always, Obama's actions and intentions are nowhere near transparent. It's a big mystery that everyone can interpret however they want to.
One idea that I have, is that the sole purpose for closing Guantanamo is to "fulfill" a promise. Obama promised during the campaign that he would close Guantanamo, so by golly, he's going to fulfill his promise, regardless of the consequences.
Sure, technically he's fulfilling the promise to close Gitmo, but not really. He's just moving the interrogations, torture and secret trials to a different location. Not that I'm opposed to roughing up the terrorists in order to save American lives, but really... It seems like a big shell game to me. Bait and switch.

Obama invites Illegal 'Alien' to Inauguration (Humor)
To ensure diversity quotas were met, Obama apparently invited an illegal 'Alien' to the inauguration.
As reported by FoxNews, a 'UFO' was caught on video during the inauguration broadcast.
And here we were thinking that we would only have to go as far as Kenya to find Obama kin. Maybe they're from out of this world.
Maybe this is why he doesn't want to show his birth certificate?

Orders from the Obamessiah: Don't listen to Rush Limbaugh
When election time rolls around, one thing that I frequently do is look through the voters' pamphlet for all the endorsements. Then, whichever side has the most endorsements (especially if the endorsements are from prominent Dumb-ocrats, Labor Unions, etc), then I will vote for the other side.
So when Fox News reports that Obama told GOP leaders that they "can't listen to Rush Limbaugh", my instictive reaction is... Listen to Rush Limbaugh, because Rush is saying something that Obama doesn't want you to hear.

Conversation with a Liberal #3
One time while talking with a liberal the topic of taxes came up. The liberal's argument went something like this: "It's good that people should pay more taxes so they have less money to buy goods made in China. It's better that the government get that money instead so they can help people out."
I'm not kidding. They actually said that. This stuff is hard to make up.
My response: "And what is the government going to do? In order to pay for this over-bloated stimulus package, the government will have to issue bonds. Who's going to buy the bonds? A large portion of them will likely be bought by China. So when our government collects those extra taxes that you want us to pay, they're not going to use the windfall to help people. Instead, they're going to send the money to.... China. To pay off the bonds. China gets the money either way. What's the difference? If I buy goods made in China, at least I have something to show for my effort. If the government gets the money and passes it on to China, I end up with a 'stimulated' economy... Or in other words: Nothing."

Secret second oath or lack of organization?
I asked a question earlier today regarding Obama's second oath-taking and the lack of a Bible. I had several good responses, including some which noted that the Constitution does not indicate that a Bible should be used, and one person even pointed out that the second President, John Adams, may have used a law book instead of the Bible. So, to those who gave thoughtful responses... Thank you.
However, now I have another question... And don't get me wrong, this is just a question. I'm not trying to bash Obama.
Fox News is reporting that the second swearing-in ceremony seems to have been a little less than transparent, and in a video on the FoxNews site, they suggest that the second ceremony had the feeling of being either hush-hush or poorly managed.
Could it be that with just four reporters invited, no advance notice, no video cameras allowed, and only a grainy audio from a reporter's hand recorder that this is a simple example of poor management, of which we can expect more during the next four years? Or is this Obama's idea of openness and transparency?

Do you want Obama to Succeed?
I was asked recently if I want Obama to succeed as President. I'll admit that I was a bit taken aback by the question. However, I have noticed that I'm not the only one who was asked.
Now that Obama has assumed the mantle of power, a lot of people, even from among Conservatives, are lining up behind Obama to pray for his success, and wish him well in his presidency.
But when I responded to the question, I said that I do not want Obama to succeed. Is this wrong? Of course not.
You see, the question about whether or not I want Obama to succeed is just plain foolish. Because it shouldn't be about Obama. It should be about this country.
This person asked the question in an inappropriate way. They should not have asked "Do I want Obama to succeed?" but rather "Do I want America to succeed?"
Unfortunately the two questions are not mutually inclusive. After listening to what Obama says he wants to do, after reading his books, after listing to his speeches, I have come to the conclusion that I do not want Obama to succeed at anything that he does because everything that Obama has said that wants I think will be bad for America. So praying for Obama's success is like praying for America's failure and I just can't do that.
Besides, why are Liberals suddenly so interested in my desire for Obama's success? Why do they now say "I will pray for him so he can succeed"? Where were they for the last eight years? Did they desire and pray for Bush's success? If not, then why should they care if I pray (to a God that they do not believe exists) for Obama to succeed?
And why are liberals finally waving American flags after an 8-year hiatus like being patriotic is suddenly in fashion? Conservatives are still as patriotic as always. We love our country, regardless (and sometimes in spite) of who the President is. Like I said, it's not about the President, it's about America. If they didn't love America while Bush was President, then their new-found patriotism is false, hollow and disgusting. And it will vanish as soon as a non-Liberal becomes President.
So, do I want Obama to succeed? Succeed at what? Succeed at keeping America safe? Succeed at preserving the freedom that makes America great? Succeed at keeping government small and taxes low? Sure. I wish that he would succeed at these things, because these are part of what makes the USA so free. But he has not promised that he will do any of these things.
On the other hand, do I want Obama to fail at doing what he has promised that he will do? Absolutely.

Is he the president yet?
OK... So everyone knows that Obama screwed up while taking the oath of office. And most people know by now that he took the oath a second time, just to be sure (as did two previous Presidents - Chester Arthur and Calvin Coolidge). But did he screw it up the second time also?
According to the Associated Press (aka American Pravda), "The president said he did not have his Bible with him [for the second oath], but that the oath was binding anyway."
So the question I have is this... is the oath really still binding if not sworn on a Bible? Does that mean that we really have a President Biden instead?
Just for confirmation, here is a picture of the second oath-taking, sans Bible:

Emulating Ronald Reagan
A recent survey found that more people wanted Obama to emulate Ronald Reagan than any other president. Personally, I think that they're right. Since the survey has already been analyzed by several other blogs, I would like to do something different... show why Obama should emulate Reagan by providing some Reagan quotes that speak directly to current events.
In fact, while reading through some of these quotes, I could imagine Reagan saying them Obama himself:
"America's prosperity was not a gift from the government, or anyone else. Free Enterprise, not government, is the source from which our blessings flow."
"When a business or an individual spends more than it makes, it goes bankrupt. When government does it, it sends you the bill."
"The Big Spenders in the Congress are at it again... they've been inventing their miracle cures for which there are no known diseases."
"We do not have to choose between the environment and jobs. We can set a common-sense course between those who would cover the whole country with concrete in the name of progress, and those who think you should not build a house unless it looks like a bird's nest or rabbit hole."
"The ... inescapable truth is: government does not have all the answers. In too many instances, government does not solve problems; it subsidizes them."
"Generosity is a reflection of what one does with his or her own resources and not what he or she advocates the government do with everyone's money."
"Government has an inborn tendency to grow. And, left to itself, it will grow beyond the control of the people. Only constant complaint by the people will inhibit its growth."
"When government decides to solve something, we have learned to be wary. The cure may not always be worse than the disease, but it is usually much bigger and it costs more."
"Government does not produce revenue, it consumes it."
"Common sense told us that when you put a big tax on something, the people will produce less of it. So, we cut the people's tax rates, and the people produced more than ever before."
"Government does not tax to get the money it needs; government always finds a need for the money it gets."
"You won't get gun control by disarming law-abiding citizens. There is only one way to get real gun control: disarm the thugs and the criminals, lock them up, and if you don't actually throw away the key, at least lose it for a long time."

Harry Potter and the New World Disorder #3
Chapter 1 | Chapter 2
Chapter 3 - The Terror Begins
At the Capitol, Voldemort is finally coronated by The Daily Prophet. A large crowd of Kool-Aid drinkers is on hand to celebrate.

Following the coronation, Voldemort returns to his dungeon and consults the Mirror of Erised. In it he sees the deepest and most desperate desires of his heart.

Encouraged, Voldemort continues on to the Wizengamot where he addresses the full assembly.

But not everyone is convinced. Realizing that he will need an insider at the Order of the Phoenix to fully carry out his destructive plans, Voldemort approaches one of their less-dedicated members to negotiate.

His work at the Wizengamot completed, Voldemort retires to his dungeons. As he enters, Lucius Malfoy approaches.

"Well. What is the message?"

A Tale of Two White Houses
When the Clintons left the White House, they took with them many gifts worth thousands of dollars. Now that George and Laura are vacating, they're leaving behind a lot of the gifts they received as a donation to the country.
Sleazy vs Classy.
The Dumb-ocrats, as usual, are greedily taking as much as they can, while George and Laura are being generous.

Bill Ayers Denied Entrance to Canada
Thumbs up for Canada.
FoxNews reports that Bill Ayers was denied entrance to Canada this past Sunday (2009-01-18). No reason is given in the article, but maybe, just maybe, the Canadians have enough common sense to have policy of not allowing known terrorists into their country? Too bad we can't kick him out of ours.

Portland is TOO white??? (Leftarded MSM Barf Alert)
Rita Skeeter must be writing for The Oregonian these days.
For those of you not familiar with the Harry Potter books, the Rita Skeeter character is a reporter who writes articles that are so thoroughly slanted towards a particular point of view that they contain very little truth (if any). It appears that since leaving The Daily Prophet, Rita Skeeter is now working and writing for The Oregonian under the pen name of Betsy Hammond.
Portland's biggest newspaper published Hammond's article in their Sunday edition, titled In a Changing World, Portland remains overwhelmingly white, that is so full of libtarded B.S., that it could very well have been written by Rita Skeeter.
The article implies that Portland is a Bad City because it is one of the more ethnically non-diverse cities in the USA. As if ethnic diversity is what makes a city good.
Much more likely that Betsy Hammond is leftarded.
For additional entertainment value, read some of the readers' comments after the article. Hammond takes a serious beating, and deservedly so.

Chapter 2 - He-Whose-Middle-Name-Must-Not-Be-Used (or at least not until the Inauguration)
From the window of the Hogwarts Express, the countryside seemed to roll by slowly.

Suddenly, Lincoln starts twisting and turning, doubled over in pain. His skin seems to stretch and remold itself as his body shrinks to a much smaller and decidedly more whimpy form.
Instead of Lincoln, we now see Voldemort who is not pleased.

I've got to use something to distract people so they don't see what I'm really swearing on: Tom Riddle's Diary!

Conversation with a Liberal #2 - Debunking Liberal Urban Legends
Thank you to all the Freepers who commented on my first Conversation with a Liberal at FreeRepublic. One of my favorite comments likened talking with Liberals to talking with houseplants. Thanks Popman.
Here's another true story for your amusement...
My wife was talking with some liberals recently who were discussing how Europeans are so wonderful and smart because they can speak multiple languages. The implication was that Americans are stupid because most Americans speak only English. My wife, being a naturalized American citizen who immigrated from Europe, was asked her opinion on the matter.
Without missing a beat, she replied, "I know lots of Europeans who can't even speak one language, much less two."
Dropped jaws and stunned silence. It's what I like to call 'The Liberal Look'. Or as Popman might say, they reverted to their natural houseplant state.

Conversation with a Liberal
I know several liberals and talk to them as often as I can about the error of their ways. I also try to give them the benefit of the doubt that perhaps they are not as dense as they appear to be.
A couple days ago I talked with a liberal who was really excited about the end of Bush's presidency. Even now, they were still bashing him and insinuated that he is stupid by suggesting that individuals who want to be President of the united States of America should be tested before they are allowed to run.
I generally disagree with liberals, but in this case, I wholeheartedly support their testing proposal: "Yes, we should test candidates, and here's the first question for the quiz: How many states are there? Obama said that he had been to 57 and he had a couple more to visit, so he would have failed immediately."
Said liberal's jaw dropped and they remained speechless.
Before they had fully recovered, I dropped another bombshell...
"We should test voters too, so we don't have to be embarrassed about voters who can't even say which party has a majority in Congress. Who wants to have a government elected by an uninformed majority?"

Obama Scandals List: 25 and counting
American Conservative's list documenting Obama's scandals and shady associations has grown to 25 now.
And we've got another one for the list - FoxNews reports that Ingrid Mattson, muslim scholar with ties to muslim terrorist group Hamas, is scheduled to speak at Obama's inaugural prayer service.
Poor Peter. He's gonna be very busy keeping his list up to date.

Why Israel is fighting. If you don't get it, Ask Joe
As I have stated previously on my blog, I strongly support Israel's right to exist and right to self defense.
Many of the articles that I have linked to are stirring and well-written texts that make a strong and reasonable case for Israel in the current conflict. However, sometimes you need more than just text. Sometimes a picture is worth a thousand words; and a video is worth ten thousand.
The video reports on the PJTV.com web site about the Middle East Conflict, and specifically those from Joe Wurzelbacher definitely fit into the category of a video being worth ten thousand words.
Watch this: Joe Wurzelbacher under attack in Israel.
Did you get even a small sense of the fear and anger that Joe went through? Yet what Joe experienced is just a small part of the terror that has been inflicted upon the Israelis for years. Mutliply that by a million people over a period of several years and you start to get a sense of where Israel's response is coming from.
Personally, after reading all the different articles I had read before, yes, I supported Israel. But I didn't fully get it. Not really.
I get it now.
Thank you PJTV. And Thank you Joe Wurzelbacher.
Go Israel.
In case you're interested, this page has more videos from Joe and other reporters on the Israeli conflict.

Harry Potter and the New World Disorder
Chapter 1 - Infiltrating the Ministry of Hope and Change
The last rays of the setting sun cast an eerie glow over the dark and gloomy outline of a Windy City. Deep within the bowels of this urban wasteland, leaves skip and scatter along a deserted road near the Grove Parc Plaza neighborhood, long since ruined by too many government-funded porkbarrel projects. Almost unnoticed at the end of the street is a dilapidated mansion that is unlit and unwelcoming. One would almost think that the house is empty and abandoned.
But inside the house, slouched lazily across a threadbare couch in a cheerless room is a figure whose very essense seems to banish all intelligence from its presense.
A snivelling, squat creature enters, disturbing the brooding, ominous figure who looks up and speaks.

A scowl crosses Vodemort's face. Wormtail continues.

"Why? What's happened to Malfoy?" Voldemort hisses.

Voldemort frowns deeply, lost in though. After a short pause, he continues, "I'll deal with Malfoy and Fudge later. Go on."

Wormtail jumps in fright as a large snake slithers slowly into the room, its tongue darting rapidly in almost speech-like rhythm.

Wormtail hastens to continue his narrative.

A sinister smile stole across Vodemort's face. "Make sure she repeats her lies as many times as possible so people begin to believe it. I especially want the Daily Prophet to focus on Global Warming."
"Yes, My Lord Voldemort," Wormtail grovelled. "I will send an owl right away."

Hundreds of miles away, Harry Potter awoke suddenly from a dream, his scar throbbing in pain.

Israel Conflict News
Here's Israel's summary of today's activities.
Israel shells UN Compound in Gaza. Terrorists were shooting at IDF from the compound. Stupid terrorists. Stupid UN. After all, the UN has already admitted that the other UN building that was shelled was being used by Hamas, after all. So why not this second building? Atlas Shrugs reports on the same story.
Israel issues an apology of sorts over shelling the compound, but (quite rightly) notes that they were being shot at.
In other positive news, yet another top Hamas official has been terminated. Good shooting, IDF! This article about the attack contains an additional detail... Israel targeted Said's hidey-hole because they received intelligence about his location! Question of the day: who would have given Israel that intelligence?
More positive news: Holland's parliament condemns anti-Semitism and promises to prosecute those making anti-semitic statements. They also back the cabinet's view that Holland should not have any contacts with Hamas as long as Hamas continues to promote violence. Good for the Dutch.
Israeli troops advance even further into Gaza City. They're being more careful, this time, and not playing into the terrorists' traps.
This is a big part of the problem: Iran declares Israel will not live. The "religion of peace" is so peaceful that they can't stand it when others live in peace.
Hamas falsely accuses Israel of using White Phosphorous weapons against Gaza, then turns around and uses White Phosphorous weapons against Israel. Sick.

Didn't Obama promise to tax the rich, not the poor? Another broken promise.
Hopechange for Obamatards “Bill Richardson had to withdraw. Obama’s education nominee cannot speak proper grammar. The Treasury nominee doesn’t pay taxes. The nominee for attorney general worked in the pardon office, and he didn’t know anything about pardons. Obama’s top terrorism advisor was involved in a security breach. We’ve got more scandals here during the transition than most presidencies have in one term!”
Sarah Palin's Tax Problem. Or not. Evidence of not only double standards among Dumb-ocrats, but also, double standards in media reporting. More details on Geithner's hypocrisy.
First-hand look at the real Guantanamo, or, alternatively: The truth about Guantanamo that the MSM will NEVER tell you because it makes their other reporting look like a pack of lies... which, of course, it is.
FISA Court rules that warrantless surveillance is legal. Personally, I think that this is both good news and bad news. It's good in that it validates Bush's position on the matter. It's bad in that Obama is not so principled as Bush and is much more likely to use surveillance against innocent people instead of keeping it focused on true terrorists.
Strong suggestions for fixing the banking disaster.
Ex-Blago Aide cutting a deal with the Feds. Has Blago pissed his pants yet? What about Rahm "MIA" Emmanuel and Barry "Teflon" Obama?
Humor: Lineup of liberal movies set for release in 2009.

Suggestions for Obama Cabinet
As long as Obama is tapping so many criminals and corrupt people for his cabinet, what's wrong with having a few more?
How about getting OJ to lead the Department of Justice? Or maybe Homeland Security instead.
And for Housing and Urban Development, Obama couldn't do worse than his old buddy Rezko.

News about the Israel Conflict
Yet another ceasefire is in the works. What I really like about this article is the third paragraph which talks about some braindead morons accusing the IDF of endangering civilians and war crimes. Israel's response? "Foreign Ministry spokesman Yigal Palmor said Israel supports freedom of expression, even if an opinion 'is not based on any solid evidence and even if it is tainted with political bias.'" I really enjoyed that one. One other gut feeling that I got from the article was that of a weakened Hamas. Ha'Aretz agrees.
Iran is still trying to provoke Israel... rockets have been fired from Lebanon into northen Israel. Not much damage. Israel fired back. Limited activity.
Israel may face UN court ruling on legality of Gaza conflict. WTF are those morons at the U.N. thinking? Hamas' activities in Gaza are the ones that qualify as war crimes. Good thing the Israelis know this and are gathering evidence about Hamas' treachery. When will the UN learn?
What Arab propagandists don't want you to know about Gaza.
The US Army War College is becoming an ostrich. They're not only teaching that Hamas isn't so bad, they're also removing references to radical islam from their curriculum. Very bad trend, indeed.

News of Note for 2009-01-14
U.N. agrees that US has brought Iraq conflict to a favorable conclusion.
Iraqi forces rescue hostages and bust kidnapping ring.
Someone finally gets a clue: Germany to change their constitution to ban excessive borrowing and require debt be paid off. Hey Obama! Take a look and pick up a few pointers over here!
Where, in all of our laws, are the Unions granted permission to decide who gets taxed? Taxes and Unions are two things that have a very negative effect on the economy, but to let the Unions start controlling taxation - that's just plain... Communist.
Obama's "Read My Lips" moment has already come - he's backing down on his promise to give tax credits. But being a Dumb-ocrat, the MSM ignores his broken promises.
Of course, his whole campaign szpiel about not raising taxes was an utter lie that I never believed. The thing is, he isn't even waiting to take office before proposing his first tax increase. Granted, it's on cigarettes, but still... a tax increase is a tax increase. And this tax increase is supposed to help fund SCHIP, of all things. Foolish tax increase for a foolish program. How typically Obama.
Here is a better plan for stimulating the economy. Perfect? Probably not. But much better than what Obama is proposing.
The MSM, at fault for not playing nice with Bush, blames Bush for not playing nice with them. Do these morons have any clue at all? Apparently not. For example, Chris Matthews thinks that the media shouldn't criticize Hillary. How clueless can you get? Yes, I know, we are talking about Chris "the king of clueless" Matthews, but still. If Matthews thinks that politicians should be protected from criticism, why didn't he apply this same principle to Bush? And besides, I'm sure the North Koreans would be happy to let Matthews run theirpropaganda machine News Agencies and avoid criticizing their politicians all he wants.

Dumb and ODumberer
There has been a whole lot of Bush bashing from the leftist libtards and the communist MSM. Now, in this country, we have freedom of speech. So all these people who have been trashing Bush for the last eight years have every right to do so, even if their bashing is mostly lies. So all you Bush bashers out there, you go right ahead and exercise your Bush Derangement Syndrome to your heart's content.
Bush may not be perfect, but he's nowhere near as bad as you people say he is.
And if, as libtards say, he's dumb, then take a look at Obama. Obama can't hardly speak without a teleprompter. He can't choose friends and associates without them getting into some scandal or other. And during the election campaigns, he certainly wasn't anywhere near honest about who he is or what he's really trying to accomplish.
So, for all those libtards out there, if Bush is Dumb, then I guess that makes Obama Dumberer. Or maybe Odumberer?
Hmmmmmm..... With devolution like this, it appears that Darwin may not have been right about species evolving into something better.

Socialized Medicine? God Forbid
Here's a good analysis of why socialized medicine is wrong for America. I just love personal stories involving rational thought. I'd like to point out something from his story: he took personal responsibility for his situation. That's it. Right there. The moral of the story: Personal Responsibility. That curious little thing that's so lacking in liberalism.
The government should never be used an excuse for avoiding personal responsibilty.

Happy Birthday America's Right
One of the blogs that I have been reading regularly is America's Right. Jeff Schreiber has been providing good insight into some of the issues that have been occurring over the last year. On his site today, posted an article celebrating his blog's 1-year anniversary. His post includes a personal account of his journey from liberal to conservative. Very revealing and, in my opionion, worth reading.
One thing that Jeff points out in his article is the difference between the Republican Party and conservatives. They are not the same thing. It is worthwhile to know the difference.

OMG! That many already?!?
And he hasn't even been sworn in yet!
Over at the Conservative American, they've been keeping tabs on all of the scandals that Obama has been involved in. Take a look at this page: The Official list of Obama Administration Scandals.
They have 20 already on their list. Now I'm not sure that all of these would exactly qualify as full-blown scandals, but still, they don't even mention the Birth Certificate issue.
Update: Since I wrote this article, Conservative American has added Obama's Birth Certificate problems to the list.

Conflict in Obamastan
Obama says he'd talk to Hamas, but Hillary says no. Sounds like a case of the left hand not knowing what the, uh, left hand is doing.
Israel vs Hamas muslim terrorist thugs
Hamas is pissing their pants. Such cowards. Looks like they seriously underestimated Israel's response. They probably didn't count on Egypt pressuring them into a ceasefire, either.
Hamas stealing humanitarian aid meant for the Gazans, then selling it to the people who are supposed to be getting it for free.
Hamas is also downplaying their own casualty figures. Of course, this is a common tactic in war.
If Hamas were so innocent, how can they explain 565 rockets and 200 mortar shells fired at Israel since beginning of the latest conflict? 565 rockets in 17 days works out to over 33 rockets fired PER DAY.
Land-For-Peace didn't work last time so why should it work this time? Hamas screwed it up and deserves to lose what little land they "gained".
Israel is right and the rest of the world is wrong.
One thing that many people forget is that Gaza does not border only on Israel, but it also has a border with Egypt. So how does Egypt figure into the whole situation? They don't seem to think very highly of Gaza either. Something the rest of the world doesn't pay that much attention to.
Yet another article showing the difference between Israel and Hamas. That article was written in response to this one. Both are definitely worth the read.
Israel finds Anti-aircraft gun hidden in mosque. More evidence of Hamas' war crimes.
Double standards in the reporting against Israel. Not surprising since the MSM is full of double standards.

RED ALERT: Dumb-ocrats want to repeal 22nd Amendment to allow Obama to serve more than 2 terms. MEGA ULTRA CHUNK-SPEWING BARF
Comparing 1929/1931 vs 2007/2009: A Quiz. How well would you do on this quiz?
For those of you who didn't know, Saddam did have WMD. The book 48 Liberal Lies about American History by Larry Schweikart devotes an entire chapter to this topic and is well worth the read.
Still interested in Universal Health Care coverage? Take a look at the Massachusetts disaster. Then look at the Canadian, British, Swedish and Swiss disasters. It's just not going to work.
Conservatives got together and came up with an alternative to Obama's disaster economic plan, and, not surprisingly, it's an age-old, time-tested idea which has worked every single time: lower taxes and cut government spending.
Princeton professor says AGW is crap and likens it to Nazi propaganda.
Good analysis of another example of MSM cretinism. And yet another (check out the comments on this one). And another (MSM == Truth Assassins).
MSM finally starting to clue in on Obama's fear of the press.
The Government of California must be scared over the loss of so many taxpayers. They shouldn't be surprised that so many people are escaping their taxes, but they definitely should be scared that nobody is going to be around to pay the bills.
Colorado University, a bastion of Liberalism, is so intolerant (not surprising for Liberals), that they oppose the establishment of a position dedicated to right-wing thought. Typical of any oppressive regime: they can't stand having any ideas other than their own discussed.
Another example of a Clinton abusing their position of power. This time to promote the failed AGW theory. End result: higher taxes.

Recent Israel News
Israel is still targeting high-profile Hamas targets including the house of Hamas' Chief of Staff. Israel is also continuing to attack Hamas on the ground and in the air.
Basic review of today's operations in Israel.
Joe thePlumber's Reporter's mission to Israel scares the media. Why? Because even if he's a miserable failure at being a reporter, he won't be any worse than they are. Now, personally, I'm all for what Joe is doing. Here's an editorial that disagrees. They say that Joe is not much better than the rest of the MSM, because he's just as biased as they are, except that he's open about his bias. He makes a going point. But I disagree. In particular, as long as everything coming out of the MSM is so blatantly pro-Hamas, then we need balance so we can hear the other side of the story. If the rest of the MSM were balanced, then a blatantly pro-Israel Joe would be out of place.
Interesting analysis about how Iran holds a huge stake in Gaza conflict.
Article from a few years ago: The Sleeping World is Awakening to the Dangers of Islam.
Iran warns Hamas not to accept truce. Why? Because it doesn't include a provision allowing the complete destruction of Israel.
Egypt is trying to beef up the border with Gaza, including considerations for digging a moat to prevent tunnels.
Hamas desires death like Israel desires life. So why is the world screaming so loudly when Israel gives to Hamas the very thing that Hamas so desperately desires?
Stuff I love to see - good people publicly supporting a good cause.
Signs that Hamas is cracking?

Late post, yes, I know.
Bush Interview. Reader's Digest version of what Bush said.
Naziism is still alive in Germany.
Screw Obama, Pardon Everybody. After all, it's fun to watch the Dumb-ocrats implode. And you might want to stick around for the backlash.
More evidence of the hypocrisy of the leftists.
Islamic Crimes against Humanity, well documented.
Obama's own economic advisors oppose his economic plans. The US Chamber of Commerce also opposes Obama's New New Deal, as do economists at a meeting of the Metropolitan Club. After all, the first one was a miserable failure. Why would a second one succeed?
And here's one more terrorist for Obama to go palling around with.
MSM idiot says he owes Bush an apology, but for the wrong thing. This guy is a perfect example of how utterly ignorant the MSM is.
Unqualified MSM idiot slams Palin as clearly unqualified. Fortunately, John Ziegler was there to put the scheister in his place.
Quickly moving into MSM-idiot status is Bill O'Reilly who says he's not going to second-guess Obama. WHY NOT?!? He's been second-guessing everyone else for as long as he's been on the air. O'Reilly's books show a clear disagreement with everything that Obama stands for. Why is O'Reilly whimping out now? Has he been paid off?
Have a Very Obama day.

Lots happening in the Israel vs Hamas muslim terrorists story today. Mostly Israel telling the UN to shove their stupid ceasefire proposals where the sun don't shine.
IDF says they'll escalate, Hamas says negotiations are over.
Hamas commander killed because his troops were too afraid.
The UN suggested that Hamas allow international observers into Gaza, Hamas declined. What are they afraid of?
The biggest lies about the Israeli-Hamas conflict.
Hamas' War Crimes.

Obama's All Hat, No Cattle Recovery Plan. The stimulus plan is a bunch of BS anyway.
Obama loses all credibility regarding the bailouts.
Obama's Choice: FDR or Reagan? FDR was an utter failure. Reagan was a resounding success. Yet Obama seems to want to use FDR's methods. It's going to be a bumpy ride!
His staff even had reservations about his braindead schemes. But they were forced to comply or be eliminated.
Here's a brief synopsis of why Obamanomics won't work
Leader of former Communist country tells EU to stop being communists. Well, not in so many words, but that's the basic meaning. Why is the EU so desperate to become communist when the former communist countries are clearly so desperate to avoid such a fate?
Hey, Michael Moore, there's still a lot of work for you to do.
California Gold Rush in Reverse: businesses and individuals leaving the state in droves due to oppressive taxes.
Hey Campbell's! Just so you know... I'm not buying Campbell's soup anymore.
Small nuclear power generators.
As financial times get tough... people start doing unusual things to save money. OK, so maybe this isn't all that unusual, after all.

Dear PETA
Dear PETA,
Thank you for renaming fish as sea kittens. I'm so pleased that you did so because it makes me rethink my vegan diet. I had become a vegan because fish and other edible animals are ugly creatures and I couldn't stand to eat something that was so revolting. But now that fish have been renamed to sea kittens, I don't think that fish are so objectionable any more and I have started eating meat again. And I'm loving every morsel!
Could you let me know when you will be releasing a Sea Kitten Recipe book? Someone suggested that I try fried sea kitten in tomato sauce and I'd like to get a recipe.
Thanks again,
Sea Kitten Gourmet
PS - Do you think you could rename cows too? Maybe something like "meadow kittens". That sounds really delicious and I'm getting a hankering for a big juicy beafsteak.

PS - Do you think you could rename cows too? Maybe something like "meadow kittens". That sounds really delicious and I'm getting a hankering for a big juicy beafsteak.

Israel Today
UN Calls for a ceasefire, but they're ignored. Apparently, it was Hamas that declined, since the ceasefire contained terms that were unacceptable to Hamas, such as Hamas had to stop firing rockets at Israel. And Israel, for their part, declined the ceasefire and told the U.N. to shove it up their collective arses.
About that ceasefire... the 14-0 vote in the security council was abstained by the United States. Why? At first I thought it was because the US didn't want to put their support behind what they thought was a bad agreement. Not so. It's because America whimped out and was waiting on results from an Egyptian mediation effort. Alternatively, it might be that Obama said he would talk with Hamas, in spite of the fact that he had earlier said that he wouldn't. Yet another Obama flip-flop.
It's not enough for the UN to stab Israel in the back with such a despicable travesty of a cease-fire, but they're also claiming that Israeli troops shot and killed a UN aid driver, with no evidence whatsoever that the Israelis had shot at the man. Since the man was shot, they immediately claimed that Israel had done the shooting and completely ignored the possibility that maybe, just maybe, Hamas was the guilty party.
The Fakestinians are at it again - faking news coverage in order to get sympathy. CNN's response can be summed up in 3 words: hook, line, sinker.
Lies, D**n lies and MSM Statistics: One-third of Gaza casualties are children. Read the comments under the article. Very revealing.
Here's more about how the MSM distorts what's happening in Gaza. This contains a link to the original Washington Post article, as well as commentary about why the WaPo article is such a lie.
From MEMRI: Hamas in their own words. What else do you really need to know about Hamas? And if you think that the people of Gaza are innocent... think again. They voted for Hamas and most of them continue to support Hamas. Here's another viewpoint on the situation.
In spite of everthing else you may have read, yes, Israel can win in Gaza. As long as they have learned their lessons from past encounters, and are able to keep the UN off their backs long enough to get the job done properly. Strengthening this assessment, is this report.

MSM is still raging about Joe the Plumber Reporter. Poor little crybabies. I've learned that the louder the MSM rages against something, the more the MSM is afraid of what they're raging against. So Joe the Reporter must be a really good thing.
Justice can sometimes be delayed but justice has finally come for the terrorists who lead the 1998 embassy bombings.
Anti-Michael Moore documentary pulled from movie theaters due to pressure from Moore. Seems the bastard is too scared to let people find out how much of a charlatan he really is.
PETA is just plain stupid. Kittens of the Sea? Can we throw PETA into the sea so they can go play with their new kitties?
Intolerant Liberals continue to harrass California Proposition 8 supporters.
Liars, Liberals, Hypocrites: if the liberals wanted US automakers to be bailed out, why don't they buy US automaker-made automobiles?
Rise in number of justified shootings. I've noticed this as well. There seem to be a lot more news articles coming out about people being shot while trying to break into other peoples' homes. Is this the beginning of Obama's new world disorder?
Ann Coulter is Right, Let's Get Nasty. John Ziegler got nasty and told a leftarded MSM dorkwad where to stick it.
Today's Humor: Gov Palin intentionally endangers humans.

Obama Kowtows to terrorists
This country does not negotiate with terrorists... until Obama becomes president. Total wuss. Why ANYONE (except for other terrorists) would negotiate with them is an incomprehensible question. As SultanKnish points out, politicians are the weak point in the war on terror. In that case, Obama is an extremely weak link.

Chicken Little Jr
Obama's constant yapping about how bad the economy has become is getting a little annoying. We already know that the economy is bad. So why does he have to keep repeating it over and over again? Maybe to try to drum up support for his own pet project to "solve" the economic mess? Problem is, the "economic stimulus package" is about as useless as a defribrillator with no power source. Can't the guy take some advice from some legitimate economists? Ronald Reagan comes to mind.
Obama is beginning to remind me of another sky-is-falling politician, Al Gore. Now there's a Chicken Little if I ever saw one. Unfortunately too many people drank Al's Global Warming koolaid.
As for Obama, it seems a lot of people are buying into his histerics also. He's a chip off the old Gore. Considering how well they got on at their last meeting, dare I say.... "Birds of a feather"?

Sick. Just plain sick.
Every so often you run across something that makes you sick. Physically ill. I had that reaction today. Video of Hamas killing innocent Palestinians. It's not enough that the terrorist swine shoot rockets at Israel. It's not enough that the terrorist swine use women and children as human shields. It's not enough that the terrorist swine steal food and medical supplies intended for the innocent civilians of Gaza. They shoot their own people merely for playing music at a wedding! And then they have the audacity to believe that Allah will accept them into paradise. These swine will never make it into paradise. When will the world wake up and recognize these slimebags for the filthy animals that they are?
Hey MSM, why aren't you paying attention to this? Why do you keep blaming Israel when it's not Israel's fault? You are just as guilty as Hamas.

Today's Gaza News
Gaza conflict widens to Lebanon, as reported by Atlas Shrugs, HotAir, Ace, BBC and Israel Matzav. Oh, and those rockets... Hezbollah shot them from within the UN zone. As usual, the UN is paying more attention to protecting the muslim terrorists than the innocent Israeli citizens being terrorized.
On the other hand, Israel fired back, as is their right. The difference being that the Palestinians fired rockets indiscriminately and they struck an elderly care home; while the Israelis targeted their response towards where the rockets were fired from.
Yesterday, Joe "the Plumber" Wurzelbacher announced that he'd be heading to Israel to cover the conflict. This has got the MSM twits completely pissing their pants. Seems Joe wants to ask some of the questions that the MSM morons don't want to ask, and report on some issues that the MSM is desperately trying to ignore. In other words, he wants to dig up some real news instead of the bland garbage that the MSM is constantly spewing out.
And just in case you were wondering, here's a legal perspective on the fighting in Gaza. Conclusion? Palestinian rocket fire is a violation of international law, and Israel's response is within legal limits. Who would have thunk it?
Want to know more about Hamas? Here's who they really are.
The Jews face a double standard. Yup. Any group that fights the good fight against evil will always face a double standard. It can be seen in American politics as well.

MSM not interested in Obama Eligibility issues - they even turn down advertisements.
Another example of stupid government interference into business in the name of "safety" regardless of the consequences. Oh, and will everyone please stop saying that Obama's stimulus package will 'create jobs'? And as for the real result of Obama's stupidity? Take a look at this video. Hits the nail squarely on the head.
Obama says that the only thing we have to fear is a sustained depression. What he neglects to mention is that his stimulus plan will cause such a sustained depression.
Instead of Obama's interference, how about doing something that will be of much more benefit?
So Obama wants 'Drastic Action' to get the economy going, but then says the recession could 'linger'. Um... EARTH TO OBAMA... your 'Drastic Action' is what's going to cause the recession to 'linger'. So why don't you get a clue? HELLO?!?
Russia shuts off gas to Ukraine... what's the big deal? Oh, and did you notice that none other than Ronald Reagan predicted this would happen?
And now for the inimitable Ann Coulter... seems her book is making waves. And, of course, the MSM is spitting bullets! The lameness of MSM's ranting, the obvious bias and slant in the writing. I just love watching libtards froth at the mouth!

Today's Israel vs Terrorists news
Palestinian mother blames death of her child on Hamas.
Remember the Hamas terrorist Nizar Rayyan who was killed in an Israeli airstrike along with his wives and 11 of his children? According to his remaining children, this was no accident. His wives and children chose to stay with him to die.
Why it's a good idea for Israel to keep the Media out of Gaza: because the media are a bunch of lying, terrorist-loving scumbags who can't be trusted to report the truth.
Possible ceasefire initiatives excluding Hamas.
The idiot anti-Israel racists in the U.N. want a probe of yesterday's shelling of a school, claiming that they believe that there were no muslim terrorists in the school. Idiot morons. The U.N. should be immediately shut down. Why aren't they probing Hamas instead?.
And what's wrong with Israel responding to Hamas' attacks, if the rest of the world refuses to do anything about it?
Excellent report about conference call with Israeli general about the situation on the front lines. Here's a sad quote: "Shockingly, he revealed that Hamas was shooting civilians in the feet to stop them from running away."
Israel approves tougher war on Hamas.
Land-for-Peace doesn't work. The Fakestinians have proved it over and over and over and over.... and over again.
Where's the outrage... over Hamas' use of women and children as human shields?
Joe "the Plumber" Wurzelbacher is heading to Israel as a war correspondent. He'll be helping the "average Joes" of Israel share their stories.

The Dumbocrats in Congress pass new rules to marginalize the Republicans. What's the matter? They can't deal with opposition? The Dumbocrat leaders of Congress should be arrested and charged with treason - and not just because of this.
Leading Muslim in America threatens the U.S. over support for Israel. Someone else who should be arrested and charged with treason.
Here is a simple argument about why all bailouts are unconstitutional.
Even in Oregon, the libtards' paradise, most people don't trust the public school system. And for good reason. Because the public school system is more of a propaganda machine than a real education system.
Global Warming is almost a religion. Almost? Curious that even CNN is starting to bash AGW stupidity.
Some small piece of good news: GM reports that they may not need another loan from the government. Not that they should have gotten the first one.
James Hansen (high-priest in the Church of Global Warming) fudges the numbers again. It seems that this weasel just can't let the data speak for itself.

Israel vs Hamas muslim terrorists
Score another one for Israel! Another Hamas bigshot taken out. Here's another article about the attack, and mentions three other senior Hamas muslim terrorists who were also taken out.
Hamas is claiming many casualties in Israeli attack on school. But the terrorists have nothing to worry about: Hamas is stealing supplies from civilian hospitals so they can have their own hospital, just for terrorists. Isn't that special? Although, one report I saw said that two senior Hamas terrorists were killed in the school.
Detailed analysis of Operation Cast Lead Day 11. Note in particular the details regarding the truth about the "attack" on the school mentioned above: Hamas operatives were shooting at Israeli soldiers from the school, and secondary explosions indicate that the school was being used to store ammunition. One journalist proposes a means of evaluating whether or not a particular journalist is reporting responsibly. And if you're not convinced, Palestinians are saying that terrorists were using the school as a base.
Don't blame the 'occupation'. After all, Israel wasn't 'occupying' the Gaza strip for the last 3 years. So there was no 'occupation'.
Even if Israel kicks Hamas out, Hamas isn't the only terrorist group in Gaza.
Another article about how Hamas is collaborating with MSM to distort facts about the fighting in Gaza.
Washington Post editorial: Israel has the moral high ground in this conflict. And they give an excellent argument for why Israel has the high ground.
Israel is not only fighting on the ground, they're also fighting an information war and doing a pretty good job of it, too.
Not content to terrorize Israel, Palestinians are terrorizing Europe, too.
War is wierd, when played by Gaza rules. But then muslim terrorists aren't exactly known for their normalcy. What's really dissapointing is the stupidity with which the MSM "reports" on the war.
Israel is willing to have a cease fire: but only on their own terms - i.e. Hamas stops firing rockets, and is prevented from rearming.
And while we're talking about Palestinians... there is no such thing as a Palestinian.
And on a positive note: Massive Pro-Israel rally in NYC.

Where's Immanuel? Rahm's in hiding since the Blago scandal broke. Is he the next to be thrown under the Obama bus? Maybe doing so will take attention away from the recently released evidence disproving Obama's lie that he had no contact with Blago about filling Obama's vacated Senate seat.
Scumbag CNN idiots put Sarah Palin in a list of "fallen" politicians, then quietly scrubs her name from the list after drawing heat over their stupidity but they don't even have the decency to apologize for their arrogant, sleazy, slimeball tactics. Typical tactics of communists. The CNN morons who wrote the article, then pulled the Palin part without apology, should be arrested, tried and executed for treason.
More MSM stupidity: NBC bans Ann Coulter based on a flimsy excuse. Then, they deny that they banned her, saying that they only cancelled one appearance. Yet another reason to detest and despise NBC.
Article about FoxNews special report from September 2008 on the timeline of the FannieMae/FreddieMac financial collapse.
More anti-AGW: 2008: Another grim year for Global Warmers. The problem withe the AGW nutcases is that they just don't get it. In fact, now they're claiming that Australia is destroying life on Earth.
Islam is lame: Support For Hamas' Use Of Child Hostages Indicative Of Islam's Moral Bankruptcy.
Why Obama's stimulus plan will fail. Or at least one argument among many multitudes of arguments about why it will fail. In addition, his proposed 'tax cuts' are full of fine print.
Nancy Pelosi promised "the most honest, most open and most ethical Congress in history", but has delivered the most dishonest, closed and unethical Congress in history. Her comments are typical of the kind of communist propaganda promising one thing and delivering the exact opposite.
Leave it to a libtard to come up with something like this: a council in Tewkesbury, England wants to deny free parking for churchgoers because it's unfair to other religions in spite of the fact that there are no other religions' buildings (mosques, synagogues, etc) in the town. FYI: It's a Liberal Democrat who's leading the charge.
Denmark's schools are denying Jewish children entrance to schools because they fear that muslim students will attack the Jewish students. Um... why don't they deny entrance to the muslim students? Hello?!?

News about Israel vs Terrorists
Abbas is using the Israel vs Hamas conflict to regain a foothold in Gaza. Meanwhile, Israeli soldiers have advanced to the edge of Gaza City.
While Israel is targeting Hamas, Hamas is shooting at Kindergartens.
I was wondering when this would finally show up: Fakestinian Fauxtography. Palestinians faking their wounded and hamming it up for western news media.
Yesterday there were reports of Hamas operatives using U.N. ambulances, and today they're hiding out in hospitals and even dressing up as nurses.
Hamas is constantly accusing Israel of targeting civilians (curiously, this is exactly what the Palestinians are doing), but if this were true, then Israel is doing a lousy job of targeting civilians.
Someone else speaks out in opposition to Hamas: Adel Imam, a popular film star in Egypt.
More insights into the background of Israel's preparations for the latest attacks.
Not content to kill Jewish children in Israel, Hamas is threatening to kill Jewish children anywhere in the world. How can anyone support such a disgusting terrorist organization?

More Obama-pick scandals: this time from Hillary.
Q&A with Philip Berg regarding the eligibility lawsuits in the Supreme Court.
Obama looking to implement $300 billion tax cut but without any spending cuts... in fact, it looks like he wants to cut taxes AND increase spending. Looks like he needs to go back to economics school.
Anti-AGW: the truth about CO2.
Muslims, not content to terrorize women and girls in their own countries, are terrorizing women and girls in the west including NYC and Chicago.
Atlas is reporting that the MSM is not a legitimate source of news. Yup. Absolutely correct.
Mumbai terrorist admits that the Jewish center was the primary target.
The Iranian regime having a hard time and possibly ready to fail?????
In spite of the fact that Coleman should have won, Minnesota election officials are doing everything they can to steal the election for Franken.
British scientists have discovered (yet another) natural process that absorbs CO2. They're saying that this can prevent Global Warming. But I say that it's just another one of the natural processes that makes the whole AGW hoax look like... the hoax that it is.

Drill Here, Drill Now, Pay Less
We, in America, have the ability to become energy independent. Why aren't we taking the steps that we need? Because Congress is preventing it from happening.
I just finished reading Newt Gingrich's book Drill Here, Drill Now, Pay Less and highly recommend the book to everyone. It contains specific information on how America can lower gas prices, become energy independent, create jobs and improve national security. And it will cost much less than the idiotic "green" solutions being proposed.
If you want to encourage Congress to act on Newt's recommendations, he has an online petition that has (as of the time I'm writing this article) been signed by almost 1.5 million people. Please add your voice to this effort. It's free. And it will cost us a lot less in the long run.
Newt has also made a movie called We Have the Power that talks about many of the same issues covered in his book. It's available on DVD.
For more information about Newt's ideas, you can visit the American Solutions website. On this web site, be sure to visit the resources section that has links to excellent articles, links to downloadable data sheets and rebuttals to arguments that people have against the ideas presented.

News about Israel vs Palestinian Muslim Terrorists
Patriot Room's continuously updated information about the IDF operations. Highly informative. Has lots of information not found elsewhere.
Israel is in Gaza now. But will this effort help?.
Israeli soldier killed in fighting: Dvir Immanuell, an honorable man who died in service of his country. Our prayers go out to his family and friends.
Arabs seek UN resolution to stop fighting in Gaza. But the US blocks UN attempts to prevent Israel from defending itself. France, as usual, is kowtowing to the muslim terrorists. The Czechs are voicing support for Israel. After all, the whole situation is Hamas' fault.
In spite of US' efforts in UN, they are still involved in truce negotiations which do not address Israel's security needs. In other words, Hamas needs to stop shooting at Israel.
Pro-Israel rallies are starting to crop up in Paris of all places, and it's attended by 12,000 people; as well as in Miami.
Hamas' Hezbollah allies don't want to get involved in the fight, even with Israel inside Gaza.
Shin Bet says that Hamas starting to feel like they miscalculated.
Hamas and Fatah are fighting each other in Gaza and there are reports of 35 Palestinians being executed because they were accused of collaborating with Israel.
Iran is threatening to break the Gaza Strip blockade.
And here's a video of Hamas using UN ambulances as troop carriers.
Israel is in Gaza now. But will this effort help?.
Israeli soldier killed in fighting: Dvir Immanuell, an honorable man who died in service of his country. Our prayers go out to his family and friends.

Roundup of News for 2009-01-04
Obama wants to put a buy American clause in his economic stimulus package. But as anyone with a decent knowledge of economics can easily figure out, Obama's palns will be a miserable failure.
Break out the popcorn. Burris v Senate battle starting to shape up. If they try to force the issue, it's going to make for some entertainment.
Jan 20, 2009 - A day that will live in indignity. All those people spending so much money to attend the farcical foisting of an unqualified moron onto this country. Not sure whether to laugh or cry.
Obama is still an enigma. I agree with the title. But in her article Jennifer claims that some of the blanks have been filled in. I respectfully disagree. But you are free to read and come to your own conclusions.
Regarding all the scandals swirling around Obama and his crew, it's not surprising that there's yet another one... this time affecting Hillary Clinton. Surprised? After all the scandals involving Hillary's husband and all of Obama's other slimy cronies, this is to be expected.
Oregon wants to tax milage. It's a typically libtarded move. These morons scream to high heaven about how we need to "save the world" by using less gas, then when we actually save gas, they are unable to deal with the unintended consequences of their actions.
Illinois state government coming to a standstill over the Blagojevich issue.
Arguments regarding the AGW hoax.
The health care system in the USA may not be perfect, but socialist health care isn't anywhere near perfect either.
Why liberals still think like the KKK. Because they ARE the KKK. The Klan was founded by Dumbocrats.
And now, after years of allowing radical muslim terrorists to immigrate to France by the boatload, the French government fears a new wave of extremism. Serves 'em right. You reap what you sow.

Carville predicts that the 2009 Democrat Scandal Season is going to be an active one. Get out your popcorn and enjoy the show!
Even when Minnesota declares a winner in their Senate race that probably won't be the end of the story.
Liberal fruitcakes say that informer who prevented deaths is a traitor. Typical libtards. The entire lot of those activists should be arrested and shot for treason against America.
Grandest of Good Intentions
Islam is not a peaceful religion. Actually, it's not even a religion.
Designer claims that opposition to fur-wearing is 'childish'.
Liberals need to lighten up and examine their own racism.
Missouri fights back against the so-called Employee Free Choice Act by requiring secret ballots. Screw the Unions. If they can't deal with secret ballots, then they shouldn't exist. Actually, let me correct that... Unions shouldn't exist. Period.
Libtards taking their stupidity to extremes: School removes the word "school" from their name because the word has "negative" connotations. Whatever idiot came up with this idea should be sent to a mental institution.
More arguments and evidence disproving AGW.

America in for a fall?
In 1976, Emmanuel Todd predicted the fall of the Soviet Union. The actual fall occurred 15 years later in 1991. In 2001, Todd wrote a book in which he predicted America's fall from being the world's sole superpower. Although this has not yet happened, current economic and political events are making this a distinct possibility.
Todd wasn't the only person to predict the fall of the Soviet Union. A number of other pundits had made similar predictions, including some as early as the 1920s, just a few short years after the USSR's founding.
What is interesting about a lot of the predictions regarding the USSR is that almost none of them focus on military conquest from outside. Rather, they focus on collapse from within, particularly in the social and economic spheres.
So what is it about the USSR that caused people to make so many predictions about them falling apart? Based on the predictions, it's because socialism itself is economic failure. After all, socialism focuses on government control of social and economic areas of life. Look at Europe today: the countries in Europe which are doing the best are the ones that are the least socialist. While those that have adopted the most socialist policies are having the most problems.
How does this relate to America? Our corrupt politicians are leading us more and more down the path of socialism and the further we go in that direction, the more likely it is that the United States of America could very well find itself heading towards the result predicted by Todd.

Today's News about Israel vs Terrorists actions
Israel continues to strike targets in the Gaza strip. Take your time, Israel. Take all the time that you need. You've been disciplined with your attacks so far. You won't get everyone this way, but by being methodical, you can cause serious damage.
Patriot Room's daily roundup of news about the Israel vs Terrorist conflict.
Hamas declares Day of Wrath over the death of a senior commander. More details and commentary about how Israel targeted and killed the terrorist Rayan. It seems that there is also a reason why Rayan was specifically targeted: he sent his own son on a suicide terrorist mission to kill Israelis. A well deserved death for such a terrorist scum. And it seems that there aren't many tears being shed for him, even among the Palestinians.
Then, after targeting Rayan, Israel targets another Hamas terrorist leader, el-Amrin. Secondary explosions occurred after his house was bombed, confirming that the house was also used as for ammunition storage. Well done, Israel!
Muslims divided over Gaza's troubles. Seems not everyone over there likes Hamas and finally have the guts to deny them support.
The sows of the Muslim terrorist pigs in Gaza are vowing suicide against Israel. If it's 'apes and pigs' that they're after, they don't have to leave Gaza at all. Just go down to the nearest Hamas headquarters or weapons-caching mosque. You'll find plenty of pigs and apes there who are much more deserving of your suicide attacks.
TimesWatch wonders if The NY Times is losing its balance over Israel-Hamas coverage. I say no. The NYT has never been balanced on the issue and has been so far off balance that they cannot possibly be losing what they never had.
A lot of what Hamas does makes no sense at all. Unless you understand what makes Hamas tick and why they exist.
Survey sez: 62% of Republicans and 31% of Democrats support Israel. Looks like 38% of Republicans and 69% of Democrats are idiots.
Israel allows Palestinians with foreign passports to leave Gaza. Particularly noteworthy in this article is a comment by one of those fleeing: some of the families who had been warned to flee their homes ignored the warnings. This means that some of the civilian casualties died because of their own fault for not leaving when warned.
Revealing silence at the Gaza-Egypt border. Hamas complains about humanitarian crisis, but then doesn't allow the wounded to leave. Brutal terrorist pigs are causing more harm and suffering.

Two-part video of Sarah Palin interview: part 1, part 2.
Terrorists rampage through Jewish quarter in Antwerp.
Sarah Palin speaks out regarding her grandson Tripp and about her daughter Bristol: "The road ahead for this young couple will not be easy, but nothing worthwhile is ever easy."
If anyone ever tries to sell you the lie that sea ice is shrinking... It's not. Plain and simple. And if anyone tries to seel you the lie that European socialism is making life in Europe better than in America... again, don't believe it.
And speaking of global warming... greenhouse gasses could have caused an ice age in the past. OK, so which is it... greenhouse gasses cause global warming or greenhouse gasses cause global cooling? Geez. Can these idiots get their story straight? And here's commentary from a blogger about this same story. Of course, the idiots over in the California legislature must not have gotten the memo about AGW being completely debunked, because they're introducing legislation to require all cars to have a "Global Warming Score" published on the sticker. Never mind how utterly moronic, stupid and useless this would be, WTF is a Global Warming Score?!?
And forget Global Warming... it's the global warming alarmists who are more likely to ruin the world.
In a possible sign of the way things are shaping up... the Dumbocrats in Congress held meetings about the economy where Republicans weren't invited. Truly disturbing. Especially when Obama's economic plan is the real "bridge to nowhere".
The MSM reporting about conflicts around the world doesn't make sense. The don't report on true stories. They over-report small issues. And they slant everything. Case in point: AP can't print a nice word at all about Sarah Palin. They trash her at every single opportunity. But when other people criticize Obama... they have a conniption fit and say it's not fair. Cry me a river.
Sea Ice extent on 2009-01-01 for Northern and Southern Hemispheres are at normal levels:
Taleban are showing yet again what complete bastards they are by requiring girls in areas that they occupy to marry Taleban militants. The consequences? Death.
Gay advocates are trying to force lawyers to defend gay clients even if homosexuality is morally repulsive to the lawyers.

Today's Israel vs Terrorist News
Thursday update
Collection of related information
Iran shuts down newspaper that publishes article sympathetic to Israel
"Peaceful" muslims want to nuke Israel
A top Hamas leader has been killed in the attacks.
What Israel is trying to achieve by proxy.
Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert promises that there will be no peace until Hamas muslim terrorists stop firing rockets. Hamas counters with "If Israel stops shooting, we'll start talking".
Maybe Hamas is ready to start talking, now that their tunnel economy has collapsed due to Israeli bombing.
Israel is getting smart. They're bringing the battle against Hamas to the Internet. Let the world see what's really going on.
More proof that Israel is specifically going after military targets: IDF forces killed a senior Hamas leader who is closely tied to their militant (ie- terrorist) wing.
Fighting the good fight in Gaza.
Hamas muslim terrorists are complaining that medical care in Gaza is poor. But any shortages are their own fault given that Israel has gone out of their way to ship in large amounts of humanitarian aid.
Another article about Israelis coping with the terrorists' missile attacks.

Today's News of Note 2009-01-01
Happy New Year!
Two honorable men, Marines, stand their ground and save the lives of countless others. Corporal Jonathan Yale and Lance Corporal Jordan Haerter died to protect others. These two are true heroes, true patriots, and true men.
Female Marines donate their hair to charity.
Palin attends Chanukah Celebration that also involved lighting candles in memory of the Mumbai attack victims.
Ann Coulter teaches Democrats new tricks
M.A.D.D. is a group of anti-American thugs undermining the U.S. constitution.
Members of the Republican party want to go on record as opposing the bailouts and call them dangerously socialist. Looks like someone in Washington DC is finally starting to wake up.
Watermelon - pink on the inside and green on the outside - is a new term for pinko liberal greenie weanies. How to make a watermelon explode.
Yet another greenie weanie failure: 'Green' schools are putting students to sleep because of lack of fresh air. No matter what the greenie weanies do, it always backfires. There are always unintended consequences.
Iraqi civilians joining the effort to dismantle bombs and find weapons caches. More proof that the war is won. When you have won the hearts and minds of the civilian population and they help you root out terrorists, then the war is definitely won. And then, when we hand the green zone and presidential palace back to the Iraqis then you know we're making definite progress.
The 'Obama the Magic Negro' story says more about leftarded Dumbocrats than it does about Republicans.
Of course, now that Obama got elected on the extremely inflated yet ambiguous mantra of "Hope and Change", the 'RATs are are now busy lowering expectations about Obama. But I thought he was supposed to solve all the world's problems for breakfast! Not to mention that "Hope and Change" is probably communist code for "New World Order". And while we're on the topic, Obama made another top 10 list... The ten most corrupt of 2008: a top 10 list by Judicial Watch. Makes for some interesting reading. Is anyone surprised that Obama is in the list?
The recession is the government's fault, which is why the government is so desperate to blame the recession on the free market economy. They don't want to admit their mistake.
Humor: polar bear union disbands over climate con.
